I have not posted in a very very long time. The reasons are many but two reasons stand out. Firstly I was made redundant from the day job, yikes! so I needed to focus on finding new employment with the day job skills I have to offer. Thankfully I am now back in work and it’s going well. Learning curve is steep again as you would expect when starting a new job but all is good. Secondly we have not been able to get away in the camper so my desire to pick up the camera has been low.
Putting all this behind and starting to think about my photography again I begin to realise I am coming to the end of my 1camera1lens project with my Fujifilm XE1 and 35mm lens. So what did this journey teach me. Continue reading That time of year……new
Carrying on from our trip in the Lake District trip I have put together a few of the landscape shots taken with my original Fujifilm X100. The results and easy of use of this little wonder still make me smile. It’s so easy to use and set up for a range of shots this Lake District trip gave me the opportunity to shoot some stunning landscapes, panos, street and long exposure.

Continuing from the recent trip to the Lake District I had a set of images based on buildings and structures.
Still finding the original Fujifilm X100 a delight to use over the holiday but sadly a break away from the 1Camera1Lens project. My Fujifilm X-E1 now has a lovely clean sensor. I have to admit it was a little scary cleaning it myself but it has turned out just fine. On the flip side I have a couple more sets of images to use in this post from the Lakes trip with the X100. Then another set of landscapes and then it’s back to the 1camera1lens project.
