Fuji X-E1 model and makeup shoot part 2 – Zombies

Following on from the model and make up shoot last weekend. This set of images really shows the talent of Rosie’s artistic side. This set is a little scary and quite HDR to believe they are the same girls. Oh and to start meet Ryan my daughters boyfriend. This incredible skull was painted on his face in just over an hour. Rosie informs me this is only the second time she has tried it. Most impressive. Here is a link to Rosie’s new WordPress blog. Rosie

Lest take closer look
The fist shot I gave a post HDR for the full effect. Every other is standard. These were all taken with the Fuji X-E1 and my 35mm f/1.4. My defector standard for the year. The images from last weeks and this weeks post are wireless triggering two Nikon SB strobe lights in soft-box brollies set up in a top to bottom clamshell. The close ups have been shot with a main powered ring light modified from and old magnifier inspection lamp. Give a great catch light to the eyes. The shots were taken in my studio garage against neutral grey paper background. Let’s get scary…….

It’s hard to believe this set of images were taken in the same evening its quite satisfying to see what can be achieved in an evening meeting about with cameras lights and makeup. Lovin it. ……well done Rosie can’t wait to work with you again.
