These are the first tools I have used to try and produce my first long exposure light trails.
The above image shows the red led baton spinner. This is a modified child’s flashing light sabre. I modified it to have a little more weight to help with the spinning. The other problem I noted very quickly is the spinning wear on your fingers. Blisters rife the next shot shows I got over this with a socket and shackle.
I now have the tools to try a few more shots and perfect the technique a little better. I also need to find a brighter light source.
