Corporate Portrait

Just a quick post on this one as it was a quick shoot. Local company Director Graham Brown, founder and owner of FRS ( Forces Recruitment Services ) gave me a call.
Gazza as he is affectionately known needed some new website images for his recently re-designed board and training facility in Ely Cambridgeshire. I popped in on the way home from the day job and took some shots of the board room layout and class room style layouts, cool features included a whopping 100″ HD projection system with full surround sound, ideal for showing of the latest corporate advertisements and presentations. Another really cool feature specially for me is that Gazza had commissioned three images of my personal collection work I post on Flickr. Large prints to adorn the walls of the new facility …. even cooler, if that is such a term was that Gazza had the images printed directly onto aluminum sheet 3mm thick and then mounted them on little offsets from the walls making them appear to “float” away from the walls and they look superb. Nice one Gazza !!
The shot above is a little single strobist affair, one speed-light through a soft-box umbrella camera right  ( love those things) set to 1/16 power and triggered with CTR301. A large silver disc reflector is directly camera left to reduce the harder shadows. Taken with my trusty little nifty fifty lens and the Nikon D80. Bosh job done and home for dinner by 8pm.
