DIY Homemade macro lens

Just a quick one, put together a quick home made macro lens using an old 28-100mm f/3.5-5.6G lens and an old Pentax f/1.8 50mm lens reversed and taped to the front end of the Nikon. The shot of the flower is the result of the DIY lens. This little exercise took about 10 mins to put together including this test shot and a little post processing. Ok its not the sharpest macro in the pencil case but its not bad for a first attempt. So if you have some old lens’s sitting on the side gaining some dust, grab them blow the dust of and start strapping a few back to back and see what you can do. If you want pictures of the lens I made just let me know and I will send them to you or post them up here.
